The ASHA House Team
I have forty year’s experience of management, and working with the staff and tenants at Asha House allows me to relive my long since distant days of youth and education.
We try to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and care that includes the responsibility of sharing lifestyle and ensuring the facilities that we offer are second to none.
Working in the property industry for longer than I care to admit and particularly in property management has taught me to keep on top of things before they get on top of you. Actually I would never let that happen. Our residents know the entire Asha House accommodation team by first names and that’s the way we want it.
As housekeeper I get to see everything, the good, the bad and the ugly, however everyone here knows how to behave so as not to annoy their neighbours and make an effort to keep things as neat and tidy as they should be. Sometimes they forget though, so I still keep busy.
I have been involved with the letting of Asha House since it was built in 2007 and have watched so many young people arrive lost and a little bewildered, very quickly settle in and leave with happy memories and many long term friends. Lots of them rebook throughout their university or college years and become confident adults by the time they leave. We must be doing something right.
Gone but not forgotten!
These staff have left us now but still deserve recognition
